Filled Tuesday #4: Weddings and Sneakers II

I’ll be showing you another design I made for a couple used for their E-Sessions

Client: Vanessa

Shoe types: 1 Espadrille, 1 Vans Slip Ons

She told me she wanted the designs to be based from their professions and interests so we did. The center designs of their shoes are their individual professions (Medicine related and Law) the sides are based from their countries where they’re working/residing at the moment (I’m not sure I just know its Canada and Philippines) the other sides are for their interests like shopping and gold. I just added some elements to fill the spaces and to make it interesting at the same time keeping it minimal.

Tip: When lining your objects and you wanted your main subject to standout more, add thickness on their outline while keeping the background lines thin. That way, you can emphasize which is more important in your design. Same thing with shadows and shades. Add them on your background or on the sides of your subjects to create depth and emphasis. 

Filled Tuesday #3: Weddings and Sneakers I

We have encountered couples who took interest in using customized sneakers as part of their prenup, weddings or just for their own amusement which is really interesting and fun to do. If feels good to know that what we’ve created will be part of something memorable for their lives.

Here’s some of the sample.

Sheryl, our client for this particular design, asked us if we can do a mock design before we start production and we agreed. The first photo above is the original photo while the second is the mock design. The last two photos are the actual photos.  Tip: When creating mock designs or drafts for any particular job, always advise your clients that the designs you’ve created are not 100% accurate. They are call mock/drafts because they are supposed to be just that, drafts. Of course, this is not a reason for you to do a sloppy job that they will be so surprised that your mock is so good but the actual isn’t or the other way around. Just make sure to remind them so you won’t be having problems later. :)    G.
